I've been focused again lately on eating well, cutting out sugar, getting more veggies and protein. One of the reasons I keep coming back to food, and talking about food, is that eating well such an elemental part of living with intention. You know what I mean? Mac and cheese has its place as a comfort food, but a mac and cheese life is kind of sad.
Today I made a steak salad for dinner, and it was downright divine. I grilled a grass-fed sirloin steak, made fresh salsa (tomatoes, onion, jalapeño, garlic, and corn), chopped up avocado, and put it all on top of romaine lettuce. If you've never had steak with pico de gallo and avocado, you should rectify that situation, because it's amazing.
